Careismatic Brands has been a force in medical apparel and footwear for over 25 years, outfitting generations of healthcare professionals with the workwear they need to perform their jobs with style, skill, and pride.

 

Since the beginning, we’ve dedicated time, resources, and funds to supporting our nurse community and the places where they live, work, and learn.

 

Among them: American Organization for Nursing Leadership Foundation (AONL), the National Coalition of Ethnic Minority Nurse Associations (NCEMNA), the National Association of Hispanic Nurses (NAHN), the National Black Nurses Association (NBNA), the Nurses on Boards Coalition (NOBC), and countless community-based charities and initiatives.

 

Careismatic is a longtime partner of the DAISY Foundation, an international organization recognizing extraordinary nursing. We’ve funded DAISY grants to improve care in underserved communities, and sponsor the annual Cherokee Nursing Conference Scholarship (CNCS) for DAISY Foundation honorees.

 

We also sponsor the Careismatic Brands Student Advisory Council, which aims to give a voice to the next generation of nurse leaders. In 2023, the 10 A Nurse I Am scholarship recipients will get a membership on our council, as well as as a student membership in AONL for undergraduate recipients.

 

As the "A Nurse I Am" documentary so poignantly reminds us, “At some time in our lives, and in the lives of our loved ones, we will personally be helped by at least one nurse.”

 

By investing in nurse education, we are helping make sure nurses will be there to take care of us, our children and grandchildren, and generations to come.
